Our commitment to reconciliation
The Toowoomba Hospice acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land on which the facility is built, the Jagera, Giabal and Jarowair tribes. The Hospice pays respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
The Toowoomba Hospice is committed to implementing our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) aimed at taking meaningful steps to foster reconciliation within our organisation.
The Hospice will continually develop our RAP with the aim of strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples, for the benefit of all Australians.
Accreditation and Standards of Care
Toowoomba Hospice, is a private hospital dedicated to providing quality and up to date standards of practice for our clients and affiliates. The Hospice is fully accredited with The Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS). The Hospice utilises the following standards when providing care
